They got the money from Garba Dahiru, a former commissioner for finance in the state
A former deputy speaker of Bauchi state House of Assembly, Hon. Sace A. Dumba, and two others were interrogated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday, July 20.
The two others are a former caretaker chairman of Dass local government area, Mohammed Suleiman Rabo and former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in same local government area of the state.
They were quizzed at the Gombe zonal office of the commission over their alleged involvement in the sharing of about N500 million to 20 local government areas in the state for the re-election of the former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 general election, The Nation reports.
A top source at the EFCC said the money was reportedly lavished on PDP stakeholders in all the local government areas of the state by Garba Dahiru, the commissioner for finance, during the administration of former Governor Isa Yuguda.
