We must drum support for indigenous initiative - Dambazau

The minister of interior Abdulrahman Dambazau has promised to improve the knowledge base of all staff working under his ministry

He made this pledge in a meeting with the director general of the Center for Management Development Kabir Usman

 The minister said ministry of interior will take advantage of all programs available at the center to improve its staff capacity

On Tuesday, July 19, the minister of interior Abdulrahman Dambazau promised to improve the knowledge base of all staff in the ministry. The minister who met with the director general of Center for Management Development Kabir Usman in his Abuja office pledged full commitment improvement of all the staff of the ministry, his press secretary Osaidgovo Ehisienmen said.

He said the best thing is to do is to drum support for indigenous initiatives for a transiting economy like Nigeria’s.

 Dambazau further said the ministry of interior will take advantage of all programs available at the center to improve its staff capacity.

 Also speaking, Usman said his visit is sequel to several communications between the center and the ministry.
He said the meeting is aimed at collaborating in areas of capacity building for staff of the ministry as well as personnel of agencies under it.

Those present at the meeting include the permanent secretary of ministry of interior Bassey Okon and other management staff of the center.
