Fight for Abia: Ogah wanting to abduct legal officers, Ikpeazu charges

This came as Governor Okezie Ikpeazu asserted that there was a plot by "desparate legislators" to capture legal officers in Abia State to swear-in Dr. Uche Ogah, who was issued a declaration of return a week ago by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

In any case, Uche Ogah said the battle to confirm him as legislative leader of Abia State was still on and communicated trust that God would see him through.

Be that as it may, the Federal Government, through the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, said it never impacted the INEC to issue declaration of come back to Ogah.

The AGF, in an announcement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Salihu Isah, asked every one of the gatherings required in the governorship tussle to anticipate the "choice of the courts" on the matter.

Malami kept up that as such, no one had drawn nearer him to proffer any lawful sentiment on the emergency.

He said: "The consideration of the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice has been attracted to the intimations and vile untruths being sold and dispersed by a cross-area of Nigerians and the different media stages that the Honorable Attorney General of the Federation is behind the legitimate logjam over the Abia State governorship seat and wishes to clear up that those campaigning this position have no premise to do as such.
